Every year nearly 10 million people worldwide are diagnosed with dementia. The changes that take place can be frustrating, scary and cause great stress. As reflexology therapists, we can provide care and support to help people who are living with dementia.

In this presentation Oran will share how important hand reflexology can be for people living with dementia. Her hope is that more reflexology therapists will chose to work with people who have dementia.

This presentation will include:

• Why hand reflexology
• Case Studies
• Summary of her Oran’s pilot program with foreign live-in caregivers that was presented at ADI2022 (Alzheimer’s Disease International Conference )
