The Seren Training approach to supporting menopausal clients provides a wealth of knowledge in understanding why women experience menopause, the transitional stages of menopause, and the vast array of symptoms that may be experienced. We also look at medical diagnosis and management and what that may look like and the various options available. We then help practitioners to develop an individualised reflexology programme to support women on their journey through menopause in a way that is going to work best for them. It is important to include in this group of women those that are experiencing menopause early or through medical or surgical interventions. The course provides a good understanding of the theory of menopause along with structured and tailored treatment protocols to support each stage.
