Certified reflexology therapist.

➡️ Description

The focus of this workshop is the role of reflexology in assisting with symptoms associated with peripheral neuropathy (PN). The aims of the sessions are:

1. Overview the causes & presentations of PN, with a focus on chemotherapy induced PN (CIPN).
2. Briefly describe pharmacological & non-pharmacological approaches to PN & CIPN, including summaries of research evidence – with a focus on reflexology & acupuncture/pressure.
3. Introduce & demonstrate the AcuReflex© CIPN protocol and its variations for other symptom relief e.g. nausea, insomnia, fatigue, breathlessness, etc.
4. Make recommendations for best reflexology practice, assessment, self-care guidance for patients, and multidisciplinary working.
