Lise Rivard
Lise Rivard, RCRT™, is a seasoned Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist with over 17 years of clinical experience supporting clients toward improved health, balance, and wellness. Guided by her motto “Health is Wealth,” Lise integrates reflexology with complementary modalities to offer deeply restorative and results-focused sessions.
Lise’s interest in reflexology began in childhood and blossomed into a lifelong calling. She completed her professional training and received certification as a RCRT™ in 2006. Encouraged by strong client outcomes, she went on to earn credentials in Hand Reflexology (2008) and Ear Reflexology (2010), continually expanding her skill set to better serve her community.
Lise’s practice draws on a broad range of tools and techniques — from traditional reflexology to ScalarWave cold laser therapy, sound healing, and crystal support — all selected to enhance circulation, reduce pain, and promote relaxation. Her work is characterized by a holistic approach that considers the whole person, combining evidence-informed reflex techniques with compassionate care.
Her professional journey has taken her beyond Canada; from 2013 to 2016, Lise maintained a successful private practice in England where she was recognized by the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) for her contributions to client care and clinical excellence. She now practices in Nanaimo, British Columbia, where she continues to support clients with a range of health concerns.
Lise specializes in reflexology support for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and diabetic neuropathy, helping clients experiencing numbness, pain, and sensory disruption in the hands and feet. Her work focuses on improving micro-circulation, stimulating nerve-related reflex zones, and addressing pain through a biopsychosocial framework that supports both physical and neurological wellbeing.
Lise will be a panelist on Panel #2: Working Together: Reflexology’s Role in Collaborative Healthcare
