Linda Baril

Linda Baril has been a practicing Birth Doula for 35 years and has assisted women and their families at both hospital and home births, attended by midwives, physicians and/or obstetricians. Her focus is on the well-being of birthing women, in whichever environment she may choose to birth in, attended by whomever she feels safest with. Linda is also a Childbirth Educator, Reflexology Therapist, and an Adult Educator. Over the past 35 years she has combined these diverse skills and has provided support to women in over 200 births. These experiences have given her an understanding of what today’s birthing women need, within our society’s ever-changing attitudes and practices towards childbirth.

Linda believes in every woman’s right to the birth of her choice and recognizes the challenges that exist in today’s world. She recognizes that a woman’s birth experience can influence how she navigates her journey through motherhood and beyond. Linda’s wish is to share her insights and skills with others so that we can work towards bringing the ‘natural’ back into natural childbirth.

🡪 Linda will be delivering  Seminar #4: Reflexology and Postpartum Care and Workshop #5: Postpartum Care: Providing sensitive care to postpartum persons with Reflexology, Acupressure and more
