Jen Hlannon, RCRT™, R.Ac
Spruce Reflexology & Acupuncture
Jen Hlannon has operated her busy reflexology practice in Victoria, BC, since 2020 and has served on the RAC BC Chapter Board since 2018. Early in her career, she trained in the Father Josef reflexology technique from Taiwan, which led her to integrate meridian stimulation into her foot treatments. This unique approach involves stimulating the toenails and the meridian channels in the lower legs.
In 2021, Jen deepened her understanding of meridians by beginning formal studies in acupuncture. Over the next three years, she gradually wove this knowledge into her reflexology sessions, creating a truly integrative treatment style using channel palpation and acupressure during the reflexology sessions.
Her clients often comment on how much they enjoy the detailed work on their calves—just as much as the foot reflexology itself! Over the years, Jen has heard from many fellow reflexology therapists who are eager to learn these techniques and incorporate them into their own practices.
Now, Jen is thrilled to offer this training opportunity to reflexology therapists who want to enhance their sessions with meridian-based calf and lower leg work. She looks forward to sharing the skills and insights that have enriched her practice and benefited so many of her clients.
