From Denmark, the country where reflexology has been mainstream for 50 years, we are excited to introduce a new theoretical framework offering deeper insights into reflexology and practical techniques that take our profession to a new level.

A new Paradigm – Simpler to Explain – and Closer to Well-known Science.

For the sake of keeping reflexology afoot with recent ideas in energy medicine, fascia science and consciousness research, we find it necessary to talk about a new paradigm in reflexology theory.

The model we propose is a holistic unifying approach to understanding the body, and at the same time revolves around a very tangible thing: the fascial network.

It is simpler and logic to explain clients -and does not throw off the scientifically trained sceptics of complementary and alternative ideas.

Fascias are the future in body understanding – and body work.

They do indeed reflect the gold standards of reflexology!

Follow us on a Fascia-nating Journey – in Theory and Demonstration

In this presentation Dorthe and Peter will lead us on a fascinating journey in world of fascias and the 2 main aspects of the new model:

1. The way fascial tensions extend through body structures and may show up as tender areas in the superficial tissues – like feet, hands and ears. This understanding provides the first aspect of the new model for reflexology’s mechanism. It also leads to new ideas about the importance of new hands-on techniques, which we will demonstrate.
2. Taking it all further by showing evidence that the subtle energy field is intimately connected to fascia. Here we find a fascinating concurrence between modern research and ancient intuitive knowledge. This connection has deep implications for the way we work with and understand reflexology. We will provide demonstrations of techniques to incorporate subtle energy fields / consciousness with fascial techniques. Here we find the second aspect in the new model of reflexology.

Fascia a potential bridge builder

Fascia knowledge has the potential to bridge medical science, complementary therapies and energy medicine.
