Dr. Naveed Akhtar
Dr. Naveed Akhtar is the co-chair of the Integrated Medicine Alliance and a Principal GP with Special Interests in Minor Surgery, Musculoskeletal Medicine, and Mental Health. He is a Master NLP Trainer, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and a Medical Acupuncturist.
As a full-time NHS GP and Integrative Health Doctor, he has an undying curiosity for things that work to make people live the best and healthiest lives they can. Dr. Akhtar specializes in providing individualized care by integrating his knowledge of Conventional Medicine, Complementary Therapies, and Self-care including exercise and nutrition to bring health and healing to a higher level.
Dr. Akhtar is the co-founder of NeuroLinguistic Healthcare and Organiser of the Integrative Health Convention. Since 2008, he has been successfully using NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP) with his patients. His success rate skyrocketed when he combined his skills with the principles of hypnosis, and together with Dr. Toh Wong they have developed a unique approach to effectively treating patients within a standard 10-minute consultation.
